What is BluePropel ONE?+
BluePropel ONE, model PBT-01, is a 2000W electric propulsion system designed to install beneath a compatible stand-up paddleboard. It is a board-mounted drive—not a handheld underwater scooter.
Will it fit every paddleboard?+
Not yet confirmed. Final mounting interface, board requirements, dimensions, and compatibility guidance will be published before sales begin. Contact us with your board brand and model if you would like an update.
How fast is it, and how long will it run?+
Top speed and runtime testing are still in progress. Results depend on the board, rider and cargo weight, battery configuration, water conditions, and power setting. We will publish tested values with their conditions rather than unsupported estimates.
What will be included with the system?+
Final kit contents have not yet been published. Before paid orders open, BluePropel will identify every included component and anything required separately—including the approved battery and charger, controls, mounting hardware, cables, propeller-area safety components, documentation, and service items.
Can I use my own battery, controller, or charger?+
Not unless it appears in the final approved configuration. Voltage alone does not establish compatibility: current capability, protection, connectors, communication, charging, cooling, sealing, and fault behavior must work as a system. BluePropel will publish approved electrical components and limits before sales begin.
Does BluePropel ONE use a 6384 motor and 75100 controller?+
BluePropel is evaluating a 6384-size brushless motor and a VESC-compatible 75/100-class controller as development platforms. These labels cover multiple hardware variants and are not yet a final production bill of materials. The exact motor KV and winding, controller revision and firmware, voltage and current limits, cooling, sealing, connectors, sensors, and tested duty cycle will be published only after the production configuration is validated.
Does it replace carrying a paddle?+
No. Always carry a suitable paddle and the required safety equipment. BluePropel ONE is propulsion assistance, not a substitute for paddling skill, a personal flotation device, or emergency planning.
Can it be used in fresh water and salt water?+
Final fresh-water and salt-water guidance will follow material, sealing, corrosion, and electrical validation. Follow the production manual for rinsing, inspection, storage, and all approved operating environments.
When can I buy BluePropel ONE?+
Paid orders, reservations, and deposits are not open. We are currently collecting launch-availability, dealer, and product-testing inquiries. Use the form below or email us to request updates on final specifications, pricing, availability, and launch timing.
Where will BluePropel ONE be sold and supported?+
Sales, shipping, and service regions have not been finalized. Before checkout opens, BluePropel will publish eligible destinations, delivery terms, tax or duty handling where applicable, and the contact, parts, diagnosis, repair, and warranty route available to buyers in each supported region.
What warranty, return, and delivery terms will apply?+
Final terms are not yet published because paid orders are not open. Before accepting payment, BluePropel will publish warranty coverage and duration, exclusions, claim procedure, return and cancellation eligibility, shipping responsibility, transit-damage process, and estimated delivery timing. Will electric propulsion change the rules for my paddleboard?+
It may. Registration, equipment, operating-area, age, education, and other requirements can vary by state and waterway. Check the rules that apply where you ride before operating, and review our U.S. paddlecraft resources.
